Conclusion of this piece. Seventh iteration in the window of the meeting room at Nau Ivanow, La Sagrera, Barcelona.
The sixth iteration was in the window of the design atelier at Suraire, El Raval, Barcelona.
A hybrid videoperformance piece was produced by visual artist Ivo Reis which included footage of the performance/installation of both windows in Barcelona. https://vimeo.com/5019767
Originally commissioned for the Fronteras Festival by Ana Sánchez-Colberg, London, 2002.
In London, Installed in the windows of the exhibition space the gallery and the atelier-boutique Gisella's.

Boundaries crossed the Atlantic Ocean that same year and moored into its third iteration in the window of Galería Raíces, Santurce, Puerto Rico, with Ramírez and Renaud. It acquired its namesake, or eponym, in Spanish: Guardarrayas No Son la Mar.
The fourth and fifth iterations disembarked in the windows of Isabelle Debrosse Gallery and Colors Boutique, Miami, Florida, funded by theMiami Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and sponsored by M.O.C.A. (Museum of Contemporary Art) 2004.
The cast and choreography changed drastically. After synthesizing the original duet, I composed a solo for María Elena García and integrated a trio of student movers from a local fine arts high school.

The journey back to Europe in 2006, this time to Barcelona, arrived full of new information and movement; a direct result of the pigment application researched and experimented in Miami. Once the original Ramírez and Renaud duet was reinstated for María Elena García and Shannon Piercy-Alvarez, I choreographed a quartet for movement artists from Puerto Rico; each one with a history, proximity and/or curriculum associated with my dance work.
